Free Plugins Without the Usual Nonsense
Free WordPress plugins should be useful, not needy little billboards. Too many simple tools quickly turn into dashboard ads, upgrade nags, review begging, tracking, telemetry, and mysterious pings to somewhere in hell.
These plugins were built for IT SUCKS! and are actually used on this website.
They are small, lightweight, privacy focused, and made to add useful blogging features without adding more dashboard noise. No ads. No cookies. No tracking. No telemetry. No surprise outgoing connections. No premium circus hiding behind every useful button.
They are provided free of charge, as is. If one helps another blogger improve a small part of their website, then something useful accidentally happened.
Plugin Status
Some plugins are already online. Some are finished but still need a final touch. Others are waiting for screenshots, cleaner text, testing, or one last argument with CSS.
I also definitely need to change the featured images on the posts. Seeing my own face everywhere is starting to make me mildly anxious.
More plugins will appear here once they are polished enough to be released without me pretending I never made them.
Plugins You Can Expect
Random Articles
Perhaps this also exists somewhere, but this plugin does one simple thing: it shows random articles.
It can show random articles from all posts or from a selected category, wherever the shortcode is placed. I do not like static stuff, and randomly shown articles feel more fun to me.
Very minimal. No fluff.
Mini WordPress Firewall
I also made this plugin for my own websites.
I do not like when plugins connect somewhere without my permission. This one is extremely small and simple. You just type the domain names you want to block, and the plugin blocks outgoing connections to them.
That is basically it. No drama, no giant security dashboard pretending to be mission control.
